FL Studio song playlist

into songs and shows us how to split our patterns and use them to create a bonafide electronic song.

- Right-click a layer and select Clone to create a new channel with a blank pattern, but with the same sound properties as the cloned channel.

- Click on the Playlist view button and in the Playlist menu, select Patterns and Split by channel.

- The different

channels we created in the sequencer

will be brought into the playlist as their own channels.

- Ensure anything that was muted in the sequencer is unmuted.

- Select Song mode from the selection LEDs beside the transport controls.

- Use the paintbrush tool to arrange patterns in the playlist.

- Select a channel in the playlist and hit the sequencer button to edit the selected pattern.

- Hit play in the trasport controls to hear your song.
