Show Notes

- Open TextExpander by opening System Preferences and then clicking the TextExpander icon.

- Get the free Snippet files from the TextExpander Snippets page

- Download the

AutoCorrect

file.

- Unpack the ZIP file on your Mac.

- In TextExpander click the + sign and select Add Group from File.

- In the dialog that opens select the

autocorrect

file you downloaded and click OK.

- You now have about 100 corrections for some of the most common typos.

- You can add new words to this list. There's also a "dictionary" file you can download that has over 200 additional common typos in it.

- Download the other groups that are available from the TextExpander site and get help with HTML, CSS, and more.
