When you visit lots of Web sites, odds are you're going to have to enter a number of passwords. At the same time you're also going to have to

fill out a form

now and then; especially when shopping online.

Safari 4.0

makes these and other repetitive tasks easier than ever.

Show Notes

- Click on the gear icon and select Preferences.

- Under Preferences select the

AutoFill

tab.

- Here you can check or uncheck different auto-fill options.

- You can have Safari use information from your Address Book card.

- Click Edit to

edit the AutoFill

information.

- You can fill in just the information you want Safari to use.

- You can also elect to have Safari save usernames and passwords.

- When it comes to forms Safari will only insert the information you've provided.

- The first time you log into a site Safari will prompt you so save the information.

- You can say Yes, Not Now, or Never for this Site.

- You can also go into Preferences and AutoFill and review or remove any login information you may have stored.

- These functions make it very easy to login to sites you use all the time.

- It also makes it easy to fill in Web-based forms.
