There may come a time that while

using Facebook

, you decide that you would like to

block another user

or even just

block invites

from that user. Both are possible and reversible things that you can do to

protect your privacy on Facebook

. We'll show you how in this tutorial.

Show Notes

- If you want to prevent someone from viewing your Facebook profile and posts, you can opt to block them. You can also block invites from specific applications.

- Go to your Privacy Settings and then click on Edit your lists under Block Lists.

- Enter in the name of the person you wish to block and select them from the Facebook list once you find them.

- Please note that once you block someone they will no longer be your friend on Facebook.

- You can also block people by entering in their email address.

- If you change your mind later you can unblock them by clicking on Unblock next to their name.

- This will allow them to again access your Facebook profile and anything else you've chosen to share with them. You can't block them again for 48 hours.

- You can also choose to just block invites from a person if one of your friends keep sending you invites to things and you don't want to receive them anymore.
