As soon as you've installed iTunes on your Mac or PC, you can start looking around for movies, music, applications, podcasts and TV shows that are of interest to you. Whether you missed the latest episode of your favourite cop drama or you're looking for the slow song they used to play at every high school dance, you can probably find it in iTunes.

Show Notes

- Click on iTunes Store in the left-hand navigation pane.

- At the top of the iTunes Store left-hand navigation, you can select from the available category options to narrow down what you want to look for. Options include Music, Movies, TV Shows, Audiobooks, Podcasts and so on.

- The Genres pull-down menu allows you to browse music by genre.

- In the New Releases module, you can browse content by clicking on the different tabs across the top.

- Use the search box in the top-right if you already know what you're looking for.

- You can further refine results by media type by using the Power Search pull-down menu.

- The Power Search link allows you to get highly refined results by adding additional details.

- Movie listings often have a trailer associated. Click on View trailer to see it.

- Across the top of the iTunes Store window is your navigation trail. You can easily move backward through pages by clicking on the appropriate entry.

- Clicking on the Home icon takes you back to the iTunes Store landing page.
