Watch the entire video tutorial series on the Apple iPad

- By default, the Safari app shortcut will appear in the iPad dock.

- Tap to launch.

- Icons in the top left take care of back, forward, page manager, bookmarks and more.

- Tap the address bar to go directly to a web site address. Tap the Google search bar to search.

- Tap back and forward to navigate, you guessed it, back and forward.

- Tap the pages icon to manage open pages and move between open sites.

- Tap the bookmarks bar to go directly to a bookmarked page.

- Tap the plus icon to add a bookmark, send a link to your homescreen or mail a link to a page.

- Double tap on a section to magnify.

- Double tap again to revert to fullscreen view.
