How many times have you wanted to share an image of your screen with someone? Perhaps its an error message that you want to show or a unique display issue. Perhaps you want to grab a part of a web page and show it by email. If the answer to our initial question is anything other than "never, but thanks for asking" you should consider using a screen capture utility.

Get Capture Express from the Tucows / butterscotch file library
- Open Capture Express.
- Options allow you to choose how to handle screen captures: save as an image, print, email and more.
- The default hot key to start a screen capture is is F11.
- Press F11 and select what part of the screen you want to capture. When you're ready click Capture.
- Then left-click your mouse in the upper-left corner of where you want to capture.
- Drag the mouse down and over to include the portion you want to capture.
- When you're finished click again and a dialog comes up asking you what you want to do with the capture. Click Save.
- Type in a name for the file and click Save.
- In Capture Express click Done.
