Voice searching:

- Tap the microphone in the pre-installed Google search widget to enter voice search mode.
OR
- Tap the magnifying glass Search softkey to enter search then tap the microphone icon.
OR
- Tap and hold the magnifying glass Search softkey to enter voice search mode immediately.

- Speak your search terms in a clear voice. Voice search is pretty good at figuring out what you said.

- Interesting fact: The speech recognition tech in voice search has been honed largely by people using the GOOG-411 service.

Driving mode:

- Tap the Car Home icon.

- If you use Car Home a lot, it might be an idea to drag it onto your home screen.

- Car Home gives you big button access to things you might want to do while driving.

- The Voice Search button allows you to do many things hands free. Phrases like "Call Andrew Moore-Crispin" or "navigate to home" or "navigate to 96 Mowat Avenue" will produce the intended result.
