- Right-click on an open spot on your desktop and select Properties.
- Click the Appearance tab in the dialog that comes up.
- Select the style you want and associated colors.
- Click on Effects to select various graphics effects, click OK.
- Click on Advanced to totally customize many aspects of Windows appearance.
- When you’re finished click on OK and your changes will be applied.
