Windows generally does a good job of keeping track of the time. However, when the computer's time is off it can introduce a host of other issues. If your time and date settings are off, fear not. It's easy to change and the computer can account for daylight savings time as well.

- Click on Start, then on Settings, then on Control Panel.
- In Control Panel click on Date and Time.
- On the Date & Time tab you can check the month, the date, and make changes to the time.
- On the Time Zone tab you can pick your time zone from the drop-down list and you can also set your PC to automatically adjust for daylight savings time.
- On the Internet Time tab you can be sure that your PC is syncing with an Internet time server so your time is always correct.
- On the Date & Time tab you can make adjustments to the hour, minutes, or seconds by using the up and down arrows.
