Expand your iPhone use using myPhoneDesktop

Once you have the

myPhoneDesktop application

installed on your iPhone and the

desktop client

installed on your computer, you're ready to go. In this episode, we'll explain some of the

myPhoneDesktop settings

and ways you can customize the app to your liking, including

setting alerts

and choosing how your app will fetch data.

- Open myPhoneDesktop on your iPhone and tap the Settings icon.

- You can check on your free account.

- Tap on Fetch New Data.

- From here, you can pick from Push or Pull, and if you pick Pull you can also set a pull duration.

- Under View Options are options for phone, URL, text and image.

- These options offer the same choices for each category.

- You can elect to have the option Auto Respond. You can also pick to Clear Data on Action.

- Under Alert, you can tap on Sound to pick a sound alert of your choosing.

- If you wish, you can also turn Vibrate on or off.

- Tap on Help to get information on the iPhone app.
