- There are some settings you can change for Gmail's Priority Inbox.

- In Gmail, click on Settings, then click on Priority Inbox.

- You can pick what will be your default Inbox. This can be set to the last inbox you were in, the Priority Inbox or the Inbox.

- Next, you can alter your Priority Inbox sections.

- You can change what the Priority Inbox displays, like Important and unread, just unread, just important and so on.

- You can also change options for the second section which defaults to Starred.

- In addition, you can add another section for other special messages.

- Lastly, there's the Everything else section, which you can also configure.

- Under Filtered mail, you can choose if you want Priority Inbox to override your filters and if you want to show Importance markers or not.

- When you're all done, click Save changes.
