- Facebook chat is compatible with your groups so you can see when members of your group are online.

- You can pop out the chat window so the chat interface is easier to use.

- In the chat window, you'll see the different groups you are a part of, as well as who is on Facebook. You'll also see who is online from each group.

- If you don't want certain groups to know that you're online, you can click the green slider beside each group.

- When the slider beside a group turns grey, that group doesn't know you're online. Click it again to become visible.
