then we have a great trick you can use to

check your privacy settings

. First you'll have to log out of your profile then just follow these steps to

view your profile

as others see it. Then you can log back in to

change your privacy settings

as you see fit.

- A simple way to see what others can see is to log out of Facebook and go to your address bar and enter in your Facebook URL.

- If you're logged out, it should only show things that you've made public to everyone.

- If you see something that shouldn't be public then you can log back in and edit your privacy settings.

- You can also do a Google search with "Facebook" and your name to see what comes up.
