Your Facebook profile can get cluttered with all your info, photos, videos, applications and it's time to clean up your profile. We'll walk through ways to present the most pertinent information front and center on your page and keep the junk off your profile.

- On your Facebook profile page you can filter the amount of information on your mini-feed.

- There are 3 filters to choose from:

All posts: see everything that you and your friends post.

Posts by me: See only your posts

Posts by others: See only your friend's posts.

- You can change the amount of information that is shown for any post by clicking the edit button next to the post and selecting:

One line: Displays only what has been done.

Short: Shows a bit more information.

Full: Shows all information.

- You can also show what information is shown on your profile page by clicking the edit box for each section of your profile and checking and unchecking the boxes that you want seen or hidden.

- You can remove applications from your profile by clicking the edit button on the application and clicking remove. Or you can move an application to the boxes tab at the top of your profile by clicking edit and move to box

- You can add more tabs by clicking the + sign at the top of the profile. This will allow you to add other tabs so you can quickly navigate to the desired application.

- On your Facebook profile page you'll see a box with grey writing that asks What are you doing right now? This is the status update. You can type a message to let your friends know what you are up to.
