Show Notes

- You can look up your existing graphics adapter and see if it supports dual monitors. If it does, then all you need are two monitors.

- Make sure the cable ends match. The most common is DVI, though you may also encounter VGA and HDMI.

- If needed, you can purchase adapters to go from VGA to DVI, HDMI to DVI, etc.

- You can also find cables that are Y connectors with one end going in the graphics card and the others going to one monitor each.

- You can find graphics cards that come with two connectors on the back.

- Some are side-by-side (double-barreled) and others are one above the other (over-under).
