In this episode, we show you how to
stream media from iTunes
on your computer to yourAppleTV device
. It's easy to do and can be repeated with multiple computers throughout your home so long as they are connected to yourhome network
and they are logged in to the same iTunes account that you usedsetting up your AppleTV

- The first step is to go to iTunes on your computer and go to Advanced at the top.
- Turn on home sharing by entering your iTunes Account name and password.
- If you're using the same Account name on your computer that you used setting up AppleTV, then you should be connected.
- Go to Computers on your AppleTV's main menu to see your media library.
- You'll see your media laid out similar to how it would be on an iPod. Keep in mind it may take a while to load your library for the first time.
- Select any item that you want to play and you can press and hold the select button to see more options.
- One nice thing about watching videos on the AppleTV is that it allows you to resume videos from where you stopped watching them.
