Controlling and managing user accounts

When you

sign up to Boxee

for the first time, you'll be asked to

add a username with a password

. This allows you to track your own content and make your own friends to track what they're watching. Having different users means that you can have different accounts with different friends and also have your own settings and favorites.

To set up a new account, click the Menu button and then go to the power switch near the top and click Switch User. This will log you out and allow you to add a new user by clicking Add User. This will put you through the new user process you went through when first logging in to your Boxee box. Either sign up as a new user or enter as an existing user if you wish.

Once you finish by clicking Done, you'll be logged in as the new user. You can log out whenever you want to switch users and you can also change the account settings for that particular user.
