We've covered most of the major functions of Windows Live Messenger, but there are lots of fun features that we haven't looked at yet. Here we'll go over just some of the little features that you can take advantage of when you use Windows Live Messenger.

Feature 1: Import/Export contacts


- In Windows Live Messenger click on the menu and select Contacts.

- Here you can save all of contacts (export) as well as import contacts into Windows Live Messenger.

Feature 2: Windows Live Messenger Actions


- Click on Actions and you can call a friend's computer through Windows Live Messenger.

- Click on Actions and you can select Play a game.

- Pick the contact you want to play a game with, select the game and you can chat while you play.

Feature 3: Configuration


- Under Tools you can configure Windows Live Messenger to always be on top of all other programs.

- You can also go in and configure emoticons. Pin the ones you like best to keep them in place and unpin the ones you don't want.

- The emoticon chart also shows you how you can make the emoticons using the keyboard. That means you don't have to click the chart each time; you can type them in as :P or :) etc. too.

- Under Tools you can also change the display picture.

- You can configure default "winks" to send to your contacts.

- You can also change the default color of Windows Live Messenger.

- You can edit your mobile setting, configure MSN Direct and check your billing settings, if applicable.

- Windows Live Messenger is loaded with nifty extras and configurable options so you can truly make it your own.
