If you need to

read text off of a script

, then you should know that there is an easy way to

turn your computer into a teleprompter

using Microsoft Word

. It's a pretty simple trick that requires you to

change font colors

and use the

automatic scroll feature

of your mouse. This can make it much easier to

Show Notes

- First, open a Word document and paste the text you want to read onto the page.

- Adjust the font size to whatever feels good for you and change the font color to white.

- Under Page Layout, change the Page Color to black.

- Ensure that the page breaks won't break up your speech and that the line spacing leaves you enough room.

- Now, with most mice, you'll be able to middle click to start an automatic scroll. Move the cursor just below for a slow scroll or farther down to speed it up.
