- While signed into your Tumblr account, you can pick a theme to personalize your Tumblr and make it more appealing.

- From your Tumblr dashboard, click on Customize, then click on Theme at the top.

- The first themes you'll see are premium ones that you can use but you need to purchase them. If you want to use one of these click on the theme, then on Purchase Theme and enter your credit card information.

- Further down, you'll find free themes that you can use. Just click on one to preview it.

- Click Save to begin using that theme. You can now begin customizing it by clicking on Appearance at the top.

- Under Advanced, you can change more aspects of your Tumblr account including changing the CSS.
