- When you sign up with a hosting site, they will send you multiple emails.

- These emails will contain information about your new Web hosting account. Keep them safe.

- The information will include things about accessing email, your control panel and about "name servers" or DNS settings.

- If you host your domain with a site where you purchased it you normally don't have to change the name servers.

- If you do as we did in this tutorial, you'll need the name server, DNS settings and other such information.

- In your hosts control panel look for something that says DNS Settings, Domain, Name Servers or similar.

- Print out the email from the host that shows the DNS settings.

- In the host control panel enter the DNS information exactly as it is shown.

- When you're done submit it.

- Setting the name servers normally takes between 24 and 48 hours.

- Once the name servers have replicated, your Web site will be visible online.
