Thursday March 3, 2011
Facebook allows you to

check in to places

so that you can

share your location

with your friends. You can also allow your friends to check you into places too. If you want to, you can

disable those features

or just

protect your Facebook privacy

by

disabling places

or by allowing specific users to see what spots you check in to.

Show Notes

- If you don't want others to see where you're checking in using Facebook, then you can change that in your account settings.

- Click on Account and then on Privacy Settings. From there, click on Customize settings.

- Under Places, check in to click on the drop-down menu.

- From here, you can change who sees your Facebook check-ins. You can even click Custom to set it to only you or pick specific people.
