eBay has slipped into the common vernacular to mean just about any online auction. However, there's much more than meets the eye. Delving into your My eBay page, you'll find an email inbox, ways to watch items that you're selling or that you're interested to buy and much more.

- To use the My eBay feature found in the top-right of the eBay page, hover over My eBay and select from the menu that appears.

- You can find a summary of all items, items your bidding on, selling, watching or your favorites.

- In the My eBay page under the Messages tab, you can communicate with buyers and sellers on eBay. It functions much like a regular email inbox.

- Click on the Account tab to update your personal information, including shipping addresses, notification and site preferences.
