eBay has loads of items for sale on their site so it's important to use search effectively to narrow down your results to just what you're looking for. We'll give you some help with searches in part two or our 10-part eBay series.

- Log onto eBay and enter the search terms in the search box at the top-left and hit the Search button.
- To narrow results, select a category from the pull-down menu and hit the Search button.
- Use the Refine search menu on the left to further narrow down search results.
- You can even select to only see results from a specific seller, i.e. someone you've dealt with previously and trust.
