Amazon keeps a history of your

recently searched items

but you may want to delete items periodically or even

clear your Amazon browsing history

completely. We'll show you

how to clear your history

on Amazon,

how to review your searches

and

how to create a personal profile

so that other users can identify you.

- The more you browse while logged into Amazon, the better the recommendations you will get.

- If you don't want people seeing what you've been looking at then you can edit your browsing history.

- Go to Your Account and then scroll down to the bottom where you will find the Personalization section.

- Click on View and edit your browsing history.

- You'll see everything that you've browsed for on Amazon.

- If you want to remove something, just click on Delete this item and it will be removed.

- You can also click on Delete all items to clear your browsing history.

- You always have the option of turning off your browsing history so that nothing will be recorded.

- Back in Your Account, scroll down to Personalization to Your Public Profile.

- Here, you can create a personal profile with personal information so other users can identify you.

- You can see what your friends are doing and searching for or even create events on your personal calendar.
