Show Notes

- When you've got a project the way you like it, the most common export option is Export Song to Disk.

- This will create a full quality reproduction of the song which is great for burning to CD.

- You can also compress to MP3 for use in an MP3 player, but keep in mind that it's always best to use the highest quality settings or customize them yourself.

- If you know you're going to burn your song to CD you can select Burn Song to CD from the Share menu. You will need to have a blank CD in the drive.

- There is also a Send Song to iTunes option. You'll be able to add track information like tags.

- Another thing to be aware of is that in the Preferences menu under GarageBand you can change your default information so it will be reflected on your tracks and MP3s.

- If you are working on a video project, you can also send your project to iDVD.
