built right in and new ones can be downloaded. You can also change the settings on effects to radically change the way your song, or a section of your song, sounds.

- Switch to pattern mode, open the playlist and select the channel you want to apply effects to.

- Hit the space bar or play button to make sure the right pattern is selected.

- Add effects to the selected pattern by using the effects slots in the right-hand side of the mixer window.

- Click on a slot and choose the effect you want to apply to your pattern.

- Each effect has a slightly different control panel. Experiment with the available controls to get the sound you're looking for.
