Finalizing Windows XP reinstall

Just a few things to

finalize and our reinstall

will be done. There are just a few more steps until we have a fresh,

clean copy of Windows XP

up and running. First, we set the date, time and regional options, get a quick tour of

Windows XP

, set up our network information, computer name, user account and other pertinent details.

- Windows has rebooted and is telling us it's going to adjust the screen
resolution. Click OK.

- If you can read the text box click OK again.

- You may still need to adjust the resolution further after Windows
finishes.

- Windows XP is finishing loading.

- Windows has loaded, we get soft music, and we need to click Next.

- Turn Automatic Updates on Then click Next.

- Tell Windows how your computer connects to the Internet by checking
the appropriate radio button and click Next.

- Pick whether you want to activate your copy of Windows yet.

- Type in any user names you want and click Next.

- Windows will finish loading and you'll see your fresh, clean desktop.

- Only a few things left to do.
