Finalizing your Google Local Business Center account

- To complete adding your listing to Google Local Business Center, which we began in episode one of this series, you need to place your business into a category. This is very important as it will affect how search is used to find your listing.

- Begin typing a term that matches what your business is. For example, if it's a restaurant you would want to type "restaurant."

- Add another category describing your restaurant such as "Italian" and then add something that you're known for like "Pizza" or "Take-out." You can add up to five categories and we recommend using all five if you can.

- Answer the questions as they describe your business: "Does your business provide services such as delivery or home repair to locations in a certain area?"

- If you answer yes, then you can create a map of how far you're willing to travel. Just enter the distance in number of miles from your address and update the preview to see it on the map.

- You can also just choose to enter in zip codes or cities that you travel to, it's up to you. You can also check the box if you don't want your address shown on the listing.

- Enter in your hours of operation, forms of payment that you accept. You can even add photos from your computer or the web and any relevant YouTube videos as well.
