When you have a home network all of your computers, including virtual machines, should be in the same "workgroup." When you connect to other computers in your workgroup you can share files, folders, printers and more. Here's how to find other computers and devices on your network using Windows.

- Double-click on My Network Places.
- When it opens move down the left-hand side and click on View workgroup computers.
- Windows will scan the network and then show you all computers currently in your workgroup.
- From here you can double-click on a networked computer and sign-in.
- Once signed in you have access to anything allowed by the person who set up the network sharing.
