Once you get used to your BlackBerry keyboard, your hands will be locked into the "BlackBerry prayer" pose and you'll be typing out emails, notes and more at speed. One thing that might trip you up though is that not all characters and symbols are found on the main keyboard. One of our users asked where to find the "%" sign so here's how.

- You can enter a majority of characters using the keyboard along with the ALT key.
- There are some characters, however, that you won't find on the main BlackBerry keyboard.
- In any application where you can enter text, simple pres the SYM key.
- This will bring up several pages of "symbols" including the "%" sign.
- Highlight the symbol you want and press the trackball.
- You can also press the appropriate keyboard key to insert a symbol
- The selected symbol will appear in your document.
