Finding your way with Google Maps

Using its existing expertise in search, Google Maps also allows you to search for more general terms, look through the results, make your choice and then get turn-by-turn directions, reviews, hours of operation, even photos and more.

- Enter your search terms in the search bar. Example: Pizza, San Francisco, Sushi near (address), movie theater, Toledo etc.

- In the map that's generated, click on the way point markers to get details.

- Choose Get directions to receive step-by-step driving or walking directions.

- Click on Save to save a location to your maps.

- If Street View (ep.4) is available for the location, you can choose to view that too.

- Click on Send. This handy feature allows you to send directions via email, to a phone or even to a GPS system.

- Clicking on Edit allows you to more accurately pin-point a marker on Google Maps and change other data.

- Click on More Info for reviews, hours of operation and more detail on locations you've selected.
