Online friends are great and all, but you'll want to connect to your real-life friends who are already using Digg. This way, you can find out what they're Digging, learn about Diggs they share and perhaps even find out what the next topic of conversation will be when next you meet up for a pint after work.

Show Notes

- Adding friends on Digg helps you see what the people you care about are reading and Digging.

- Click on "add friends."

- You can have Digg look for friends who may already be using Digg from your email address books or search for friends by their email address, name, or location.

- When you find someone you want to add as a friend, click on "friend."

- If you search with a location, you'll see people who live in that area who are members of Digg.

- You can invite people to join you on Digg by entering in their email address and sending them an invite. They'll automatically be added as your friend if they join.

- Once you've added some friends, you'll see them in your profile under the friends section.

- You can click on their name and view their profile and see what they've been Digging on Digg.

- To remove someone as a friend, just click on "remove friend" from their profile page.
