Google Latitude's reason for being is so that friends and family can find each other, wherever they may roam. If your friends and family have authorized you to see and are currently sharing their locations, you can see where everyone is on a Google Map.

Sign up for Google Latitude
and follow along with this tutorial

- Click on a friend's icon on the map to see their profile or send an email.

- Click on the Add Friends tab and click on the Add button to find and add Google contacts to your Latitude.

- Friends will have the choice of how much location detail (if any) they're willing to share.
