Finding your way around the Hotmail inbox

Sign up for Windows Live Hotmail

- In Hotmail by clicking the names of the different folders (Inbox, Junk, Drafts etc.) located in the left side navigation you will be taken to the mail that is contained in those folders.

- By clicking on the Contact list on the left side navigation you will be taken to your contacts.

- By clicking Calendar from the left side navigation you will be taken to any calendars that you've created.

- To access your Hotmail mailbox from anywhere click Mail from the top navigation menu.

- The Move to drop-down menu allows you to move selected e-mails to whatever folder you would like.

- The Mark as drop-down menu allows you to mark e-mails as either unread, read or as a potential Phishing scam

- Directly above your e-mail messages, you have the choice of how to sort them. Click on Sort by and select either Date, From, Subject or Size.

- You can search your e-mails for specific information by using the search field located to the right of Sort by.

- You can do an Internet search by using the search field located below the advertisement on the top navigation menu.
