Show Notes

- Parts of the

Windows Setup

process are automated, but now we're reached a point where we need to set regional options, language, network settings and so on.

- For those in the US you won't want to change any of the Regional
Settings. Click Next.

- On the next screen put in a name and organization if you wish and
click Next.

- Type in your Windows registration code and press Next.

- Give your computer a name that means something to you.

- Also type in a password, and repeat it, then click Next.

- Set the date, pick your Time Zone, and adjust for daylight saving time
if desired.

- Windows will install some more and then get to Network Settings.

- Unless you have some custom settings leave Typical selected and click
Next.

- If you have a network put in your Workgroup or Domain name and click
Next.

- The install is close to finishing and when it does it will reboot.

- In the next segment I'll cover finalizing your install.
