- You'll want to make sure any extra cooling fans around the case are connected to the motherboard.

- You should also close the side panel if you are done with the internal connections.

- Peripherals will now need to be attached as well.

- Some common peripherals include monitors, keyboards and mice.

- You'll also need to connect the power supply to a power outlet.

- When the computer is first turned on, you'll need to install an operating system.
