, you may find that you've forgotten something or perhaps you're missing some tax documents. Rather than take a chance on forgetting these items, you can drop a "flag" in TurboTax. The flags can remind you of what you need and make certain you don't forget.Download this episode now

- Flags are available from the the top right above the data entry area.
- Just click on Flags and you can add one.
- Each Flag must have a unique name. If you forget, TurboTax will remind you.
- For each Flag, you can include a description that will help you to know what's missing, what you need, and so on.
- Flags are useful, especially if you can't sit down and do your taxes in one session.
- Flags will help you remember important things and help you to have an accurate tax return.
- Later, you can click on a flag entry and go back and fix what it is that was missing.
