take control of your inbox

Download Thunderbird and follow along with our series

- Thunderbird gives you a variety of folder views to help you manager your email.

- In the menu bar click on View and move down to Folder.

- To the right you'll see your selections.

- All shows you all of the available folders in Thunderbird.

- Select Unread to see only the folders that contain unread email.

- This is extremely handy especially if you have many folders. Use Unread to make sure you don't miss responding to any emails.

- Select Favorite to see only folders you've marked as Favorite.

- You can mark any folder as a Favorite by highlighting the folder, right-clicking, and selecting Favorite Folder.

- Select View then Folder and then Recent to see folders that you've worked with recently and folders that have recently received email.

- These Folder Views give you flexibility when viewing your email.
