- To insert a footnote, simply place your cursor where you want to insert the footnote.

- Click on insert and choose footnote

- A box will pop up where you can type in the text that is referencing the section where you added your footnote.

- You can delete a footnote by clicking on the arrow and selecting delete.

- To insert a comment into your document, place your cursor where you want the comment to go and click on insert and select comment.

- You'll see your name with the date and the time and you can type your comment into the box, which will appear in-line of your document.

- If you click on the comment, you'll be able to change the highlight color, and you can choose to insert the comment into the document, which will turn it into regular text and not appear to be a comment.
