- In order to make changes to your foursquare profile, you need to visit the website outside of the application.

- If you tap the grid icon and then on the foursquare.com link, you'll be taken to the webpage.

- Once you're logged in, go to your Settings.

- Tap on Edit and you can change your location, photo and more details.

- Under My Privacy you'll have more options as to what your friends or other businesses can see about you.

- You'll also have the option to receive emails when you get a new friend or if someone checks in nearby.

- Here you can also link your foursquare account with your Facebook and Twitter accounts.
