In this episode we'll show you how to create tips and to-dos in foursquare. You can

create tips in foursquare

make recommendations

to other users about a place you've checked in to and you can

view tips from other users

to help you as well. To-dos are used when you see a tip that looks worthwhile and you want to add them to your to-do list.

- When you're viewing a check-in spot you can view tips that other users have left about that location by clicking the Tips tab.

- Tips might include menu favorites if you're at a restaurant or popular deals at a retail location.

- You can add your own 200-character tip by pressing the arrow icon at the top-right and then clicking Add a Tip here.

- When viewing someone else's tip you can choose to Add to your To-Do list so that you can view it later.

- View your to-dos by clicking Tips at the bottom then clicking the My To-Dos tab at the top.

- From Tips you can also see Nearby Tips about the area.
