Chances are, you have more than one email address you need to check regularly. Following our introduction to Gmail tutorial series, it's clear that Gmail is a good way to manage your email workflow. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to send and receive email from all of your various accounts within Gmail?

Show Notes

- Navigate to Gmail, log in to your account.

- Click the Settings link at the top of the Gmail window.

- Select Accounts

To send mail from a different account

- Under Send mail as click Add another email address. Here, you can choose how people see your name when they receive an email from you.

- Type in the email address and click Next Step

- Gmail will send you a verification email to confirm that the email address you input is actually yours.

- Go into the email account you're aliasing in Gmail. In the verification email either click the appropriate link to verify or copy the verification code and paste it into Gmail.

To receive email from another account in Gmail

- Under Get mail from other accounts click Add another mail account and
type in the email address you want to get mail from then click Next
Step.

- Input the mail server information. Default options will work for many accounts. Ask your network administrator or see the documentation for your webmail if default settings don't work.
