Before long, you may have so much media that iTunes that finding the song, movie or TV show you're looking for becomes a chore. Playlists to the rescue! These little container files act like folders on your computer. You can sort your music and videos into numerous different playlists as well as create new playlists easily.

- Click on File in the top menu bar and select New Playlist.
- Give your playlist a name (i.e. Workout Music).
- Drag and drop songs you want to put into your playlist(s).
- Right click on a playlist to bring up an options menu. Here you can also burn your songs to CD or delete a playlist. Deleting a playlist doesn't delete the songs it contains.
