The Mac makes networking really easy. However, for PCs in your house, it can be very difficult to "see" your Mac on the network. Connecting from the Mac to the PC is generally pretty easy. Once you know what to look for it's really easy to be able to let the PC see the Mac and connect to it.

- On your Mac open System Preferences and then open Network.
- In Network click on Airport and then click on Advanced.
- Under Advanced click on WINS.
- Type in the name of your Windows Workgroup. Find your Windows Workgroup with this tutorial.
- Click the + sign and type in the IP address of your "gateway."
- This IP address is the address for your router. Often it's 192.168.1.1. Find your default gateway IP address with this tutorial.
- Click OK.
- Then click Apply.
- Your Mac should now be visible to all of the PC's in your workgroup.
