- On the menu that appears, select Mount.
- Use the mounted SD card as you would any other removable storage. Note that:
- Pictures and video appear in the DCIM folder.
- You can drop music or movies in the root of the SD card.
- You can also organize music and movies within folders at the root of your SD card; the Nexus One will still be able to find them.
- When you've dropped your music and movies on the card, eject it from the computer.
- Pull down the notification bar and select Turn off USB storage.
- Tap Turn Off.
Music:
- Open up the bundled Music app to listen to your new music.
- Sort by Artists, Albums, Songs and Playlists.
Videos / Movies:
- You'll need to grab a video player from the
Android Market
in order to watch videos on your Nexus One.- Video apps are tiny, because they're unlocking functionality and codecs built into Android.
- We recommend the aptly titled "Video Player."
Supported video formats:
- MPEG4
- 3GPP
