looking for an apartment
in a new neighborhood, it's important to know if that neighborhood is safe. One way tocheck if a neighborhood is safe
is by going to CrimeStats.com, which allows you toview details about crimes
by area and will give you a good idea of a neighborhood's safety rating.Download this episode now

- Go to CrimeReports.com and enter your location to start your search.
- Once finished, you will see a map with a list of anything the police have been called for.
- Each report has details as well.
- You can view a list of the crimes on the map and change the date range if you'd like.
- You can also look up specific crimes or areas.
- There's also an option to view sex offenders on the map as well.
- You can choose to Get Crime Alerts so that you can be updated when new crimes are reported.
- If you aren't in the United States, you can go to CrimeStatistics.info.
