hide a Facebook user's updates

so you're not bothered by them. Perhaps you're seeing way to many status updates from a chronic "oversharer," or perhaps a certain someone is unintentionally update spamming. Whatever the case, it's easy to

hide Facebook updates

from people you'd rather not hear so much from.

- Hover over a user's status update and click the Hide button and select Hide (name).

- You can also

block Facebook updates from certain applications

by selecting Hide (application name).

- To

add a user to your Facebook news feed

, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Edit Options.

- Click on the

Add To News Feed

button beside the user whose updates you want to see.
