In this tutorial, we'll show you how to
hide your phone number
when making outgoing calls from your Android phone. There are a number of reasons you might want to do this, especially if you happen to be a professional in an industry that requires you to call clients or other contacts from your personal phone.Download this episode now

- First, before you make a call, tap the menu key from a home screen. Now tap Settings, then tap Call settings.
- From here, tap Additional settings.
- Next, tap on Caller ID. This should read Network default. Tap Hide number if you want to always have your number hidden or Show number if you always want it shown.
- If you tap Hide Number, you'll see that under Caller ID it says "Number hidden in outgoing calls." You can now make calls without the recipient knowing what number you called from.
- To turn this off, go back into Call Settings, then Additional settings, then Caller ID. Tap Network default to go back to your original settings.
- From here, tap Additional settings.
- Next, tap on Caller ID. This should read Network default. Tap Hide number if you want to always have your number hidden or Show number if you always want it shown.
